182 - Which Exhaust Heatshield Generally Rattles The Most?

As per title, just picked up my 182, the seller made me aware of the heatshield rattling. It doesnt appear to be the one above the silencer. Any suggestions on which other sections have a habbit of rattling? Or are they all as bad as each other? lol.

i had mine fixed under warranty, take it to the dealers

Isn't it usually the one above the CAT? Failing that check the clamp between the CAT and the exhaust as this often comes loose.
Is it a standard exhaust?

yeah standard exhaust system.

Car is an 04 plate so out of warrenty, tbh i think a couple of larger washers all being well will hold it in place. ill get the car on stands tommorow and have a look and see which bits loose.

mine had come loose as it had worked off the washers with it being such a soft metal, i just stuck some larger washers on and it sorted it

which heatshield had come loose on yours mate?

just had the car up on axle stands and had a goosey at whats loose
turns out its the bolt right above where the center section goes to the back boxes. its a rite b*****d get to as its right above one of the exhaust pipes.

looks like a nut which will fit in a 10mm spanner will do just the job, ive decided however to leave that job till a day when i can actually go outside and feel my fingers lol

mine went just above the silencers, one went last year, the other side went last month lol

Mine was the heat shield on my manifold!! just bent it back away and it stopped rattling

mine were rattling above the backbox's. i used large washers over the oem ones and used a couple of blobs of high temp sealant too
