ordered some 195/45/16 tyres for the trophy .. badly needed!!

Got some nice uniroyals for 110 bux - a take it these will be allright for the 16" wheels?

195/45/16 is fine although that was the size fitted to the 172/cup and 182/cup/trophy wore 205/45/16.

yeah i just noticed this .. the guy who i got the car from mensioned 195/45/16 would also fit the trophy alloys hence why i am querying. i got 2 for that price

Some people may say you'll notice the difference if you were going from 205 to 195, but to be honest if you've had 195 from buying it/them, then it'll be fine. And 195 are a bit cheaper too.

yeah a tad .. 7 quid each cheaper so thats why i ordered them. al give them a try and see what happens.

i did think about that but most of the threads before advised it doesnt make a difference.

it wont be night-and-day difference, but

1) it wont look like some 1/2-baked attempt at having Stetched scene tyres.
2) more contact patch is never a bad thing

yeah thats always a good point. going forward a dout al skimp for 14 quid. just previous threads did say the dont notice much difference.

point taken thought. will be ordering 205/45/16s from now on
