197/200 steering wheel on Phase 1

I've used the search button, but 2 different threads say different things (one yes, one no)

So, can you easily fit one straight on? Obviously I don't have the cc issue. But I assume airbag can be wired in etc

i have a clio rs 2 ph2. does a clio 3 rs steering wheel fit my car without to mutch changes ?
better : non at all..

I think it rubs on the plastics of the ph2 I haven't got a clue with the ph1. Wests Renault on here put one in his dci 172 rep iirc.

I would like to know if it's possible to fit the other way.

A 1*2 wheel onto a 197 as i would like to have a wheel covered and some carbon thumb grips.

Mines a cup so no CC issues.
