Is it much of a job to replace tweeters in the 197?

Also has anyone got the steering wheel controls and display working with after market headunit, alpine iDA-X001 to be specific.

Auto lead do an adaptor for the steering controls and don't think the display will be retained. Put a Kenwood DVD player in mine and got steering controls working but the display just say KENWOOD.

Components! you mean the tweeters in the dash? not sure how to remove the dash. YET. But they are good enough for most and I've not changed mine only put speakers in the rear.

Yeah i meant tweeters sorry.
Is the adaptor easy to fit? how much did you pay for it?

Adaptor just plugs into the ISO contector and cost about £45

I'm sure they just twist/pop out on the Mk2, i'm sure its a similar set up? Look similar ish?
