197 brake fade??

anyone else get this? was going 70mph on the motorway and someone pulled in on front of me having to slow down quite a bit only the brakes didnt seem to brake that hard - only when i dropped to 3rd did the brakes "bite" could this be the brakes just need to wear in??

Were they stone cold, brand new or worn out?

This was the case with mine too, tho when warm they were ballistic!!

Never had an issue with mine not biting at all.

No thats a lie. I had a problem with mine biting for about 10 minutes when the car had been stood for 7 weeks.

I would imagine they are just worn pads tbf. Im gonna have a look at the car over the weekend so will try and jack the car and take off a wheel and look. Id suggest DS2500 pads :approve:
