I didn't think it fitted, well that's been the general thought on previous threads.

Did it take a lot of work? Looks great.

all works but for the cruise I do a new "home made" connector because 197 is different from 182

installation is really easy, 1 hour of work

Home-made connector? Any details?

Everyone seems to make it out to be a big chore. You should've done a user guide pal. Looks mint!

I just know I want it.

Someone back your 197 into a brick wall, I want your steering wheel.

Details on the home made connector please?

Did you have to modify the steering plastic surround at all?

brilliant!
Def need to do a guide. again what everyone else is saying, does the airbag work?

looks great. also interested, but guess wheels from scrap cars are going to be very rare and relatively expensive

does this mean that wheels from lesser Clio3s will also fit?

I have a 200 steering wheel to fit now so hoping it all goes on well.

I've also got some ph1 172 dials to fit. I take it you've had to do as I have? Cut the warning lights out which are not the same and refit with the ones which are. Well, that's what I've done.

Because they're white.

I would put lockwood dials on but I think they look a bit s**t.

They're a nice touch, the Ph1 clocks. White dials go faster iirc...

They're manky to look at IMO. All little dots. Plus, the typeface is blue.

Then there's the fact your car will look iffy when you sell it on.

I hated them in my Ph1. Really dated. But that's just me.

Yeah, well this set is custom adapted from a set of 172 cup dials and ph1 172 so I can always swap them back as my original Trophy ones are untouched.

When they're finished aii. Looks the same as this chaps but without the CF surrond which is a nice touch btw.
