197 steering wheel on 172?

is the mk 3 steering colum the same across the range, eg is the the 1.2 mk3 have the same coloum as the 197, if so i have a mk3 wheel spare that i might try on my mk 2

All the mk3 have the same fitment, the Rsport wheel is available to fit all the mk3's.

But when you go into the stealers to order one up be preped to wait about an hour for them to find the damn thing on the system and then slap a £250 price tag at you..

Went to local and gave them the code qouted me £250, no doubt there all usless behind the counter though

It has to be fitted by a dealer IIRC, the £250 is probably fitted.
