197 "Tailpipe Trims" Help needed!

Hi guys,

I've today had a pair of Renaultsport tailpipe trims arrive. I've been and had a look at the back of my 197, and after being told by the guy on the phone that they'd " simply slide on " they do not seem too.

This is going to sound hella amateur of me, but I'm taking it the existing exhaust tip shall need removing to make place for these? It's just that I cannot see a "clamp" to remove the existing ones. The ones currently on their are cone shaped.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Bin them, the pea shooters look sooooo w**k,

Its a blessing

FYI they do slide on and tighten up via a clamp.

I beg to differ, I think if they're neatly tucked in they look nice. They do clamp yeah, but they don't slide of the exhaust tips on my 197.. :dapprove:
