1997 Megane Scenic - Knocking from rear

Car  Shhh
Parents megane scenic knocks when being driven, and when turning on the roundabout.

If you rock when stationary you can hear it real bad, said that i thought it was a bush or something with the rear shockers as they are not mounted straight, but at a 20degree angle.

Anyone else had any faults with this..?

Edde?

Regards,

Alias

Appears that they are mounted this way..

and this can happen.

Suggested taking it to kwik fit etc for a check, and a quote for the remedial work.

Design floor with the shocker in that position as it appears that other cars are mounted vertically.

99% sure it will be a shocker snapped! Piece of piss job if your half handy with a socket set, and replace the two, as the other one may do the same soon!!

is that picture of the shockers thats on the car because the one to the right is snapped. and replace both as said, its always the o/s one for some reason.

The O/S will always have more weight due to the driver. Could be once source why it goes more.
Roundabouts, car is leaning into the roundabout so pressure is on the O/S most of the time. Another source maybe.
Camber of the road, could be another source.

Pictures were for example.

Told parents to take it to kwik fit etc for a check up, price etc.

told her she can get the shocks at £27.50 each for GSF, therefore if its about £80-£100 fitted then get it done there and then.

If not, source elsewhere..

its leaning on the N/S when you go round a roundabout.

I'd check the shocks them the bushes at the rear exhaust etc could rattle buit also check the wheel nuts also check for stupid as it sounds somthing loose in the car.
