1st mod for my cup?

Car  SchwepTek™
Some people know i have been looking at buckets but can anyone recommend other mods that i should be looking at first?

So far my list in order is: Seats, SS Exhaust, Turinis, Brakes.

What you think guys?

:)

brakes and suspension first, the other stuff can come later

When you say suspension i thought that only thing better than standard is coilies but can't afford them LOL so its not worth changing suspension to anything else is it?

As fred says.

But what are you aiming for? Im guessing looks and noise from your list of mods, rather than performance

Well, I have Eibach's on mine now and it has made a difference. New brakes to come on the weekend. Original exhaust is still on there and will only be replaced on mine when this one goes pop.

Depends what you want andy.

If you want it to look/sound good, then fit some Apex springs, some Turinis and maybe an exhaust and a filter.

If you wnat it to go better, then i'd do the Brakes, then some coilovers.

Well i want to eventually start doing trackdays so will need to get some lessons. I have seen that Turinis are lighter and let more air into the brakes so thought this would help too. Not really after looks externally (looks dam good already ;)) but internally i think the seats let the whole car down????

Hi Dan! ;) I am defo going to do the brakes because the last service said they were on the way out anyway. As said, not really too bothered with looks and can't afford decent coilies, guess it could do with sounding a little meaner, what ya think?

Got urself a clio again yet?

If you want to mod it to start doing trackdays, uprate the discs/ pads, and off ya go! Dont need to do anything else really.

Oh, and fit those leather seats ;)

You agree with the leather then instead of buckets? Must have asked that a million times....sorry!!! LOL

Yeh thats same as me really. Gonna wait for the exhaust to drop off and doing brakes soon. Did you have cup springs before??? How do they compare to the eibachs, presuming you have sportlines??

eibach sportlines
a brake kit of some description (DS2500 kit is what i'd go for)
then exhaust
maybe decat
maybe airfilter

wheels would be the last thing on my list

Someone's gonna have to explain this to me. Renaultsport spend millions on making the Clio's suspension as good as they can for the selling price, but any joe can go out and spend a few notes and make it instantly better? Call me a sceptic but that doesn't sound right to me. Unless by 'better' you mean better looking?

Hi Andy, I have prolines and they were fitted by Jay (Burp on here) a couple of weeks back. I did have cup springs before and it does handle differently. It has also, contrary to advice and knowledge on here I might add, lowered it slightly, so I wouldn't listen to what everyone says on here, no. ;)

1, got.
2, yozza got,
3, in the garage as insurance threw a wobbly.
4, Maxogen got.

Listen to him you know it makes sense;)

I had cobra daytona's, then brakes (ds2500 fitted by Fred), then sportlines (again Fred!), then exhaust. Perfect for track work. Just waiting for some eibach pro's to go on the 172, then brakes before doing the ring in the summer.

I've done Filter, Decat, Exhaust, Coilovers and Brakes are Next then a Remap i think
