1st Service On A 182Cup

Is it at 12000 miles yeah? and anyone know how much its gona cost me?? what do they do anyway??

12k for the first minor service.
Cheapest i found was £179 (less if i provided my own oil)

Yeh 12,000. Mine was £225 but i am in Edinburgh.
Should tell you what they do in the service book....

They dont do much. the parts you need are listed below.

Replace Pollen Filter(inc labour) £28.28

O and you need some oil.

They check the car for rust/damge leads etc as well.

Id probably do the work myself personally.

Yeah, its 12000 miles. Mine cost £132 - but the price varies considerably between dealerships

yeah but if you do the work your self you dont get ya book stamped do ya and that doesnt look good when you come to selling it

Yep depends how long your going to keep the car but say you keep it for 3 yrs 60k thats 5 services saving say £80 each service thats £400.

I got my 12,000 mile service for £100 !! The guy said it was expensive enough running my car so he gave me a big discount!

also, the warranty may be invalidated if incorrect parts are used etc, so probs best get it done at regd dealer, plus your saving may be negligible when it comes to sell, also will it be harder to sell your car without FDSH? Probably. But thats just my view! Older cars with no warranty - defo DIY jobs.
