2 Sim cards on one phone number/account. Txt query also

I'm sure its possible I remember something I read ages ago. How do I go about it I've got two phones but if you take the battery out to swop phone they loose the date etc. I'd only use one phone at once though just don't want to have to keep swopping sims.

These phone are second hand and a few years old notsure if that has any relivence but the logos arn't for my network on either both sat UK Cellnet not 02? Is there something wrong with them?

Also being as my phone been switched off I'm guessing I've missed a text but how do I go about getting them or do they run out of validty?

Got to love these phone though the last owners havn't removed there personal settings or old txt messages I've had great fun reading people private lives.

How old is your phone edde? Its possible, I think you can get adapters on ebay to hold 2 sim cards then you select which one you want when you turn the phone on.

Ones 1999 and ones 2000 I think. There the Nokia 7110 (the one on the Matrix) and the Star Tac flip phone.

I don't want to use two sim card in each phone but have the sim cards copied. so both can use my phone number after all battery life isn't amazing on them and with my memory I need to have one as spare but don't want to keep swopping sims.

i've been wondering this. surely you can get 2 sim cards for the same number?

someone calls you and both phones ring!

means i can take a shitty phone to work and keep a good one at home without having to keep swapping the simcard over.

if ur on orange im sure you can get line2, where u have 2 numbers on but one simcard and it tells u on the display what line is calling

£10 a month wen i had it, i had all free and evening and weekend calls on it so was worth it, that was a while ago tho (2yrs) im sure they still do it

I had one in another phone , held 2 sim cards , you pressed *3375# and it swaps over to the next sim card .

Never heard of having 2 sims cards with the same number though .

as for the txt query. it depends what settings the person who sent it you had on. they can usually choose 24 hour till its cleared of if its not delivered, 1 week, 1 month or forever i think.
