2 wireless broadband routers on 1 phone line?

why would you need to do it.
are you running 8 pc's or sommet;)

and no it wouldnt work. you could only use 1 at a time.
you would need 2 phone lines with broadband on each

why would you need to?

Ive done it with three routers connecting two different networks to one broadband line.

Very easy to do - need 1 ADSL router then x 2 normal routers with configurable WAN ports on them.

yeah basically you can only have 1 router with modem built in on the phone line. then you can have a few 4 way switcher/router linked to that like longy has said.

so would have to be network cabled to the next router?

basically got a house with a small flat on the side of it, the house current has a wlan router in the office but the signal wont reach the flat so wanted to put another router in the closest bedroom to the flat (other side of the wall) so the flat could pick up a wlan signal aswell as the rest of the house.

what is needed for that?

you need a wireless acces point to extend the range of you signal.

p.s. do you know about the setup of these?

ie. will i have to be hard wired to it to set it up to the current network then remove the cable and i'll be wireless :)

also read this on a site selling the one you posted "Currently wireless repeating only works with access point-to-access point with the same manufacturer. The majority of wireless routers do not yet support this function."

does that mean it wont be compatible with the speedtouch router we have, it would need to be belkin to belkin?

cheers

no its a speed touch modem router, not seperates. yeah I think it should be compatible to any 802.11g equipment, well hope so. cheers!
