some came with discs, either earlier or later, vvt on them as well... silver handbrake buttons and handles, digi petrol and temp guage, diff wheels, diff seats, diff front bumper, diff grill, grey headlight surrounds, silver seatbelts, colour coded rear spoiler and silver gearknob insert, think thats it.....
Don't confuse it with Vtech, lol. It comes in about 1500rpm and adjust the timing for optimum economy/performance. Doubt you'd notice any differnece from a normal K4M though.....
right i see, should be getting some insurance money soon and theres a nice one come up for sale at renault near me so thought i might have a look at it, seems a decent price aswell...
undecided though, whether to get one as an upgrade from my 1.2, nearly bought one last month but got offered pennies for my car.
theres 3 options:
1. keep my 1.2, money in the bank for a bit
2. keep the 1.2 and buy a project mk1 golf
3. buy the 1.6 as a nice upgrade, will be now or never until a good few years down the line due to just buying a house at the minute.....
depends on the condition of the new one, and services etc, mine needs ~MOT ing and serviceing in march, if its further away for this one then might be an option....
tbh i would save your money, theyre quite a bit quicker but it still feels like the same car, whereas the 172 feels totally different, i would save the cash and get a 172/182 in a years time or something...
yeah been thinking that to be honest, but i think it feels so muhc different to actually drive, heavier steering and better, harder suspension standard, plus the added fact of the speed...
although i could do with saving money in fuel and a new car won't help that...
also i suppose i could just lower my car again and i wouldnt be as bored for a bit, hmm.
either way i'll take it for a test drive and give it some right foot, just for the crack!
the one i test drove last month, i was allowed on my own while the dealer checked my car over, did about 14miles in it, reset the computer and i gave it quite a few beans and was always over 30, thats a mix of A roads, 30/40's and country lanes...
whit??
ive got a 1.2 and on the long runs ie 140 miles along the A9 at 60mph, i average 49.9mpg. but on a day to day basis i'm lucky to get 46mgg. and thzts me driving like a granny. driving like a normal person gets me 43 an like a Ned gets me 38.
you guys must live in very very flat areas or there's some thing up with me car.
