2007 Campus Head Unit

I swapped the CD player from my 03 billabong into my gf's campus but then I realised one was tuner list and one was update list (cant remember which was which). Any way of making my headunit work in her car?

If not anyone got any cd players which are the correct type for a campus?

it cant just be plugged in unfortunately,majority of loom would need changing.need to know which was the original to say whether you could upgrade to the cabasse

why do you want to "upgrade" to another renault unit though?you wont find much difference in sound quality at all.

far better an aftermarket headunit

iirc the campus head unit is update list

youd need a cabasse update list unit but they are pretty rare
does mp3 cd's and is slightly higher wattage

yep,any sony/kenwood/alpine/pioneer/jvc will be a massive improvement in sound quality even with the lowest specced model.
going rate for the basic units is 45-50 so the cabasse will go for more
i would rather go aftermarket

sony,kenwood,etc start at around the £50 mark

i do alpine starting at £70

I have alpine in my own. Cant get the stalk controls to work though. I got the extra leads but still couldnt seem to get them to work. Could have been wiring them up wrong or something though.

Stalks controls would be preferable for the campus

what controls did you get?can help you solve that also.
the alpine models which i do at £70 are steering control compatible
