2009 Clio Cup @ Brands Hatch

Cracking day at Brands yesterday, definitely worth the 300 mile round trip. Few piccies here from the Clio Cup, this first race of the season was surprisingly uneventful in terms of bodywork damage so this is probably the last and only time most of these cars will be seen in original form. Race was fantastic to watch as it was incredibly tight.

Firstly, shocking safety car, I miss the Vee Safety Car, I was hoping for an R26.R this season.

Pretty good yep, might try and get to a few more BTCC Quali days this year, nice small crowds so great for wandering around and finding a good spot.

Cracking pictures fella I work for Amery, good to see you got Dave Shepherd before Robinson tagged him at Paddock, fucker. He got a blinding start from 9th too, drove striaght round Robinson. Clerk of the course is letting us know what further action he's going to take as he tagged Carnaby later in the race too.

Slightly disappointing round for Dave Newsham though, threw it off in the first race and come in 9th after qualifying 7th and held 5th in the second race. Still, points on the board and he was quick at Thruxton in testing so we'll see what happens there.....

Colburn had a brilliant weekend, first race meet and he's only 16.

No offence, but the low light ones seem really drab...and even the few in sunshine lack your usual crisp intimate detailed clarity.

Other than that spot on as usual.
