25bhp+ increase with a little chip???

  172 cup
LOL to even have the slightest doubt that this will work you need your head looking at.

I mean all them guys spending 1500 on a cam package must be wasting there money eh?

I think all these do it tell the ECU that the air is cold, hence leaving it on choke constantly not 100% though.

That would reduce power and probably give you 'bore wash'. So, you'll need a new engine in no time.

Avoid anything like these. The 'tuners' charge you £300 for a reason. It's not cheap to hack an ECU and gain the expertise to then map it to any decent level.
And, you'd need a lot of work to gain 25 bhp from an NA engine, the size of a Clio's.

used to be able to get one for the saxo (resiston in a plug in chip)-(tricked the load senson on certain models- believed it was fully laden so chucked some more fuel in) needless to say i only know of one person that tried it and it didnt work! car starting problems, crhonic fuel economy no, faster than mine was and eventually internal seal damage or something!

they are a resister and make the car think that the air is colder and there for more dense so it makes the ecu give the engine more fuel
