Got my car back from renault, i had a knocking when i took my foot off the accellerator in the lower gears, it turned out to be an exhaust heatshield that had got bent too close to the rear box, probably from going through a big puddle he reckons.
Second problem fixed was with my k-tec rear lights which i thought was a dodgy bulb turned out to be wiring put in the wrong way round when they built em so the nearside brake light came on when i swithed the lights on.
Third problem was with the suspension knocking when cornering hard, matey adjusted one of the struts or something and thats sorted too so well happy at last!
Only thing not fixed was my noisy exhaust which sounds like its blowing, he put the car on the ramps when i came to pick it up and showed me it wasnt blowing, he thinks all you can hear is the engine firing through the exhaust manifold which theres nothing you can do about. Bit gutted really as it makes the car sound sh*t on tickover (like an old escort or something), has anyone else had this problem or am i gonna have to buy an after market system?
