3 bolt pipercross induction??????

i bought a pipercross induction kit for my mk1 clio but wen i went to fit it it was a 3 bolt fitment but my car was 2????:S i managed 2 bodge it on with the help of extra giant rubber washers and some hard work but i was wondering y my clio is 2 bolts? any i havnt actually seen any mk1 clios with a 3 bolt fitment. the induction kti si defo for a mk1 so i dnt have a clue wats rong can any1 shed any light on it for me? cheers!

3 bolts will be one for a 1.8 16v or 2.0 16v

hmmm seems weird mines a mk1 1.4 and theres 3bolts holding all the plastic housing down, but thats on an energy engine, whats yours?

There are 2 kits for the 1.4, one with 2 bolts and 1 with 3 bolts, I had a 3 bolt one on mine.

Just renault doing exactly what they did on the suspension struts and hubs aswell with the 52 and 54mm spacing, just what they had laying about at the time I guess lol.

I'll get a pic of the throttle body tomorrow if you want to see, as the engine is sitting in the corner of the driveway collecting rain and leaves

mine is a 1.4rt energy engine. mine is 2 bolts! some1 just said they made 2 kits, 1 wiht 2 bolts and 1 with 3 but r these both made by pipercross as even pipersross website says their induction kit for my car only fits 3 bolts! my car is written off now anyway so ihave a 3 bolt kit sitting in my garage, but im getting a new clio so can some1 tell me where i can buy the 2 bolt kit just incase i get another 2 bolt clio? cheers

should have sent it back rather than bodge it on. I got a refund straight away when I got one with the wrong fitment.
