307 d turbo

but has anyone on here owned a 307 d turbo? what were they like?

looking at one tonight, cheaper to run and hopefully get my mountain bike in the back

The 307's were HDI, it's the 306's that were "d turbo". The HDI is a good engine, can't comment on the rest of the car.

oh right not sure what they're called, a lot are called HDI D-Turbo. Ill have a look and a read up see what i think

I'm sure the XSI models had D-Turbo stuck on the side. This could be the cause of the confusion. Is the the 2.0HDI you are looking at?

Decent engine, should go well. Didn't these have a problem with their clutches failing prematurely? I think they're of the dual mass kind which are expensive. Might be talking rubbish but worth checking out.

its got full service history and seems well looked after so just have to see
