4 Wheel Alignment Service

  2015 ST2(MO)/CorsaLE
Hi all, on my second 182, but when i sold my first i had the tyres swapped over from the 1st to the 2nd (as they were brand new) the main agent did this for me as part of the deal - well since they did this the steering vibrates at 70/80+ i have asked them to balance the wheels again which they did, but it still does it. (and i feel is drifts a little)

Im book in for Nottingham Car 4 Wheel Alignment Service - Unit 7 Little Tennis St, Nottingham, NG2 4EL - 0115 959 9144 to have a look at this for me - ive heard good result from these as its all done electronically

Anybody used them? Or had any experiences??

Cheers Paul

Paul, the rear isn't adjustable so frankly its not worth getting a 4-wheel alignment. Just get the front done.

Also check your tyres pressures.

Yeah thats what ive heard! the guy i spoke to said that some garages only balance it one way??

Apparently they have another way of doing it, the only person i know who has used them is my dad and he was very pleased / they put weights in his car

Thanks DarthCake, so you think if he just looks at the front wheels it should solve this problem??

Starting to bug me a little

Personally I'd get all 4 wheels balanced and weighted. All done at the correct tyre pressures and then get it aligned. Should sort out your probs matey. You don't need to put weights in the car.

Some companies use a weight to replicate driver weight. Ideally this is the best way to get it aligned, as its a true reflection on how your car will be with you driving it.

Same with getting coilovers setup, but I guess it's perhaps a bit too anal for road cars.

lol I thought he meant they put weights in his car to solve the problem. i.e he's still driving arround with them in place...

I'll wake up shortly..

Anyway ive been quoted 7.50 per wheel, dont really know what im getting for that, just want it fixed!

Well thats the way they seem to price it anyway, but like you say would be pointless just geting one wheel done lol

Then again i dont know why im moaning, in expensive cars you have seats that massage you why you drive my steering when seem to do it instead

Normally when i find things wrong with cars i am told its a characteristic of the car sir!
