Haven't actually had a close look at these but the sound when it came into the workshop made my ears bleed! Never thought they were THAT loud!

In for four wheel alignment.
 
Why would they get a 130k ferrari checked for alignment at your place!! (No offence) just presumed most people would go to the dealer or Specialist!

They do sound cracking, although not as good as the 355/360.
 
I wondered that when someone said what it was in for.

My boss knows some wealthy people to be fair.

Our alignment system was 10k. Can't be too bad.

Plenty of idiots in here to use it.

That's a bloddy good question.

We used to have super tracker but this is new for our kitemark! :)

I get the minions to geom check for my estimates! :o
 
It's about the exhaust systems to get the cars to sound "good".

If you've ever heard a standard 360 then you'd just laugh. They are poor.

95% of these cars have sports exhausts on them like a Tubi, Capristo, Larini....etc.

The 430's exhausts are good as Ferrari have started to listen to their customers by designing something similar to the Tubi system.

Gally, pop the car in "sport" or "race" and give it some beans. Valves open at 3k revs and their is a rather nice booooooooom :D

If you have it in "comfort" mode the valves dont open until 4,500 revs so not much fun there.
 
I know some people will hate me for saying it but I hate the sound of them regardless of what type of exhaust they have fitted. I love the the V12 Rarris and all other Italian exotica motors but the flat plane crank V8 motors in modern Ferrari's just don't cut the mustard in my opinion.

The howl of a V10 or v12 Lambo p1sses, sh1ts and then spits on the sound of a 430. Just my opinion.

Adz it was in sport mode that's why my ears were bleeding and it was inside a bulding! :o

I prefer the standard 360 sound to the 430 tbh. 430 sounds artificial in comparison to my ears. But then they both sound better than the Gallardo!
 
I can't listen to that at the moment but the name sounds LOUD!
 
Controversial here, but I think this is up there with the best. Slightly off-topic, but listen to it!!!!

^ Amazin noise. Plenty of decent sounding lumps out there. The RB26 being one, the 2JZ being another...But none as orchestral as the Italian Stallions.
 
The Aston seems to bring the noise from the bowels of the car, I love that dignified chatter over any screaming Ferrari.
 
The Aston's noise was made by a sound tech, on his Mac, in Gaydon.

Pity really. But is does sound mint.

I always thought the Aston sound was more real than the Italians.

Everyday is a school day.
 
Nowadays, the sound is massaged and synthesized on all of them. 430 is the worst for this imo, quiet, quiet, quiet, baaaaarrrpppp, quiet etc etc
