4k rattle and knock - warantee jobs

Hi all

Ive got the annoying 4k rattle and the optional extra (rolling clunk from the front drivers side, which I do not remember ordering).

Firstly are they both covered by the warantee? its a 3 month old 182 with 5k on the clock.

Secondly what is the 4k rattles most common cause? (need to know as my local Renault Minute lot have as much knowledge of cars as I do, and thats sod all.)

Cheers all, I see membership is now open so Ill be joining and getting my lovely CS window stickers etc on order soon.

In most cases the 182 rattle is caused be the centre section baffles failing OR the heat shield coming into contact with the centre section/CAT. The clunk and the 4k rattle are covered under warranty.

5,000 miles, 3 months old... definately NOT wear and tear.

Im still unsure if the membership is up yet, forums seem to say it isn;t but people are renewing? weird?

Im in Medway, Kent and as soon as I can become a member Ill grab the CS stickers as well.

Liam182 : the knocking is whenever I am coasting, never to my knowledge when hard accelerating. I get the ABS clunk but thats just a 1 off when I start.

We had an additional rolling clunk from the drivers side at 2500 miles it turns out it left the factory with three of the steering bolts not done up properly!!!

the car was highly dangerous to drive.

The car was repaired under warranty for both
