Looks a little slower than the Twingo, but I think that's because you need 3rd to get to 60. The Twingo will do it in 2nd

Pretty much even though!

yeh i imagine 0-60 you will sit next to me then i might pull away after 70 but thats only due to the torque

I dunno. The 500 I drove was great. Steering is worse though, without a doubt.
it does feela bit electric but not too dissimilar to the 200 if im honest and i managed to stay on the arse of a 172 on some roundabouts, member is on here but wont mention there username, he pulled away on the straights instantly though
Rolling start?

no i just was late with the camera

I bet that's rapid with the rear seats removed.. Seriously, put them back in LOL!!

But surely by removing all the weight, & as such lowering the centre of gravity, his Fiat will handle better in the twisties as well? Maybe even have a 172 Cup?

Not entirely sure why the rear seat belts need to be done up though lol. Just take them out if you're going hardcore on it!!

becuase the clips hit against things and make s**t loads of banging and clanging noises, and its just so i can hear the exhaust better

I hope you are keeping those rear seats for when you come to sell it?

It's just a shame these aren't 197 pace, they would be proper great little cars then.

yeh im keeping them in the attic so when i come to sell it i can just pop them back in

and there was an abarth meet last night and one of the guys had a tuning box and a bmc induction kit and rolled 176bhp and 200ftlb of torque and he was on GAZ dampers and eibach springs and it felt just as quick as my 200 in a straight line, actually felt quicker in gear due to the torque.

handled well aswell but wasnt on the same pace as the 200

Looks a tad slower than I was expecting to be honest.

You weren't whizzing around A/E last night were you?

The interior looks a nice place to be in these as well.

I found the Twingo a bit basic.

one of the only things that put me off the twingo was the interior really but the abarth is more about pottering about town then if you want to go quick then you can, i think the twingo is more of a proper lightweight no frills mini hot hatch

Yeah, the Twingo's interior is really basic. It does rattle less than the 182 though.

i think thats the point though like in the abarth you can spec glass roof and leather and stuff which shows that it isnt about driving mega hard, the twingo is more a focuses driving car which is what i assume renault were going for

Seats out is a strange choice, just looks a bit messy now. Unless you're planning on rear carpet?

Never have rear passengers either?

A few times I've needed to transport things and I've taken the parcel shelf out and back seats down and the noise annoys the f**k out of me! Lol. No idea how people cope with a stripped car.

That looks slow, I recon the range would out drag that.

Dan no seats = no friends iirc

not neccesarily, if there were only 2 seat i the first place, thats understandable

besides, Imprezas have 4 seats, but no Scooby driver has a single friend in real life (outside of group stages)

lol i hate rear passengers tbh, and you cant really fit anyone in the back anyway.

i was toying with the idea of rear carpet and a luggage bar like this

could look quiet smart

so long as you can put everything back to standard when it comes to resale, why not.

It won't be quiet or smart. I'd just leave it standard, inside.

Get it mapped. Done.

well......bit of a rant, i spoke to bauer millet about the tuning box and the mapping

they said and i have got the conversation recorded, that if i get it mapped it will void any warranty engine wise but the tuning box wont, they said they have seen a few abarth 500s with the TMC box and because it doesnt enter the ecu it is fine and because it doesnt take the car much beyond the same figures as the esseesse upgrade they will still cover my engine under warrenty with the tuning box fitted so im gonna get the tuning box.

figures with induction kit ar around 175bhp and 200ftlb of torque so will really make it come alive
