52 plate Clio 1.2 16v

Got my first car from my cousin a big standard 16v 1.2 just had it serviced and got cam accessory belts changed and water pump, once getting the car noticed central locking didn't work on the key fob. Took the fob apart and there's no battery at all, so not a clue to see if it's still coded with the car or not... Anyone know an easy way of coding them if it's decoded!? Cheers gents!

it wont be decoded, as its written on the fob permanently. just buy a new battery for it and you will be away.

Don't suppose you know what battery size it takes do you?

Isn't it the little circle batteries? They can be bought from a supermarket or pound shop.

IIRC its a cr2032 battery

Turns out to be a CR2012... Bought the 2032 and it was far too big
