A4 oil burner !!!
My friends car has had a problem since he bought it from the dealer a year or so ago. One minute tickover is fine then it stutters and nearly stalls as revs die, then its fine again.(only does this now and again)
The BMW/Mini garage keep checking it but no faults are coming up on diagnostics etc. They replaced the alternator :S But it still happens.
They have looked at coilpacks, plugs, leads etc but no luck. They say they will continue to investigate but have given him his car back !!!
Any one had any experience with mini's and associated erratic idle problems ?
