Just browsing autotrader at 197s... Put in upto 9 years old and spotted this;

Is that genuine? In description says 2008.

Yup, I have seen another on a 57 plate too. Either imported or laid up somewhere not registered.

I remember when I worked for VW we had a 2006 Passat in for a service that was a 2002 model - it was laid up that long before being registered

What makes you say that? The reg on the car in the pics is MX57 ZDZ, which would fit with the year etc.

Auto trader has it down as a Cat C, not D as the advert says. Also, a reg check comes back with the registration date as 20/05/2009 which seems odd.
