60k service on RS 172 2002

Hi,

Car has just been booked in for a service at local garage. Any idea how much a service at 60k costs? Guy on phone couldn't give me a price; seems odd.

Jesus it's £258.49 at Renault Oldham. Do independent local garages base their price on Renault? Only the mechanic said he would need to check the computer.

When I spoke to stealerships they said it was air filter, oil filter, oil change and all the checks required.

drop your pants time if you really want to use renault

renault do not know their ass hole from their elbow either mate

even kwik fit have less chance of denting or scratching your car or forgetting to put heavily required bolts back in

seriously - stick to non renault. specialists like rentec, ktec, gdi, birchdown, etc all do these at good prices so no idea why a local garage couldn't. if necessary ring rentec ask mike/dave what exactly would be done on it (if you're too far away) write it down buy the parts exactly then go to a garage and then it is all labour, or spend a saturday morning/afternoon

Birchdown arnt far from you and are excellent. I travel from Merseyside to have my car serviced there.

Just got notice back from garage that the charge is £186; does that sounds reasonable?
