72k service in midlands...

looking to buy a clio172 52plate only 25k on the clock but 5 years is up so cambelt will need doing, where is the best cost effective place to get this done... only need the belts doin the other service stuff my mates garage will look after me so thats covered...
want it done properly but without paying renault sutton park prices!!
any help appreciated as i have to factor this into the price of this car...

have you tried talking to fred at yozzasport, they'll do a decent job, and for less than renault, so i'm lead to believe

I tried talkin to yozzasport and was promised a phone call back but never got one, they quoted £199 for the first service (12k), gave up waiting and got cheaper from renault.

I have just dropped my 172 off to have the 72k service done for £550 at four ashes renault specialist in Cannock, they always do a top job and just the same as what renault do with all genuine parts.

Mine was done at GDI (nr. peterborogh) a couple of weeks back, can't knock the service at all. It was £475 IIRC

Are those prices for just the belt changes or the full service too?

the car im looking at has only cover 25k but its nearly five years old so does it need the full service or just belts?
as im just buying it i would be doing a oil change etc (work for halfords so the old trade card comes in useful makes parts silly cheap!) but im happy to do that lot myself... brake bleed my mates garage can do
so really i wanna know is it just belts i need to do?

Mine was just for cam and aux belt as it was in between service intervals when i had it done.
