I've recently just changed my bend from this....

To this.... But everytime i pop my bonnet its come off the BMC, any tips to help keep it on. I'm not over tightening it either so I dont understand why it keeps doing it. The reducer from the BMC fits the hose fine to and goes inside the silicon bend about half an inch, more than enought to grip with the jubilee.

It looks like the bend's ID (inside diameter) is too big for the OD (outside diameter) of the BMC. Did you double check the measurements before fitting?

I hope you haven't been driving very far with no air filter - who knows what has been making it's way up that pipe!!

I checked the diameter before i brought it, even brought a digital vernier to triple check the sizes.

You could try moving the BMC one or two notches up that bracket (towards the bend) to jam it in there a bit more.
