Buying an old K reg clio was never in my car 'plan'. Was having a few problems with my Ax Gt. I spotted a nice 1.4Rt for sale at the top of my road. A nice stop-gap between cars i thought. £800 cash monnies!
Heres a pic a few days after, only mods were 172 wheels and a slight drop.
Ill just do a few things to keep me going i thought. £6k later it had been painted 3 times (getting diffrnet bits colour coded and rust removed). had 5 diffrent interiors and was now looking good!
Nice, looked ok, went round corners well and stopped well, just didnt go well. £2k and 6 months later i had turbo'd it. (some budget conversion)
All ran well for a month or so on the run up tp FCS, the alternator died, no worries o thouhgt. Took it to my work and left it in the yard. Obviously someone liked my handywork and decided to brake into it

After that i was down i wanted rid. I eventually towed it back to my garage, ther it sat for a month or so, i lost intrest and wanted to break it and sell all the parts.
Untill John had the great idea to track it!

Started this evening, stripping (whats left) out of the interior. Next on the list to get a new door fitted up. Its slight progress and i feel 100* better about the car now and am looking forward to returning it to its former glory with a new track **** twist!
