A good amount to lower...

Car  Clio MkII 1.4 16v
I own a MKII clio 1.4 alize, I want to lower it without any of the rubbing, but still enough to notice, whats the best amount to lower it? front and back?
I have no idea when it comes to suspension, so any tips, sites, and help would be great! Cheers!

Looks really good mate! thats exactly what i'd have in mind!
Do you get much rubbing with that lowering? or any other problems?
Thanks for the post mate

I say this everytime, but, 60mm minimum on a non-sport. It won't rub anywhere, ever, unless you've got ridiculously big wheels on.

It rubbed a tiny bit on the rear if you really really hammered it round a bend but from reading on here a 3mm spacer or 185 tyres sorts that.

I had 5 people in it quite a few times and it never rubbed.

Definately worth it, if your going to lower it do it properly atleast 60mm. anything higher is unnoticable.

welcome to the forum also.

also believe it or not i get no scrubage! (except on speedbumps and driveways lol)

not a clue man,

the rears on 90mm custom springs,
and as for the front i have no idea, 90-100,

doesnt rub because....
small wheels,
small (stretched) tyres,
offset of only et13 (et8 with spacers at the front)
and very very still suspension.
