A good laptop for Uni..

I need a new laptop for when I go away, but theres so many out there!

I do alot of multitasking, photo editing, and I guess work :S

Sorry mac guys but no mac books thingys I know windows and dont really want to 'learn' how to use macs

Got around £1200, slightly more if needs be.

Are Sony Vaios any good? look pretty swish

I had two choices when I was buying my laptop.. and one was a Macbook Pro.

If I went with Windows, I'd have 100% got the Sony Vaio SZ (Carbon Fibre).

It can be had for about £1200-£1400.. but, they are amazing

Had a look at the ones on scan.co.uk recently can get some very high spec'd laptops for £1500 SLI graphics dual core cpu etc basically a desktop replacement though.

See, my main thing was it had to look mint.. so only had the choice of an MBP or a Vaio SZ, heh.
