So finally we got the car rolling and working theres still loads to do but its now home, wouldnt exactly call it safe with a battery zip tied down to the passenger seat rails but it had to be out the workshop.
The guy came to do the screen 45 quid fitted for a new one was a decent price. The rear polycarbs where bonded in the same as the screen then pop riveted with black rivets as the holes where already there.
I got new wiper blades for it and satin blacked the scuttle panel to neaten it up along with the other black trim bits.
There was faults we had to figure out, mainly earths in the end but its now sorted just needs one hell of a tidy up.
Things still to do...
Need to buy a lightweight battery and locate it in the back of the car as the passenger seat is as far back as possible theres no room for the bulky box it previously had.
Massive loom chop and tidy up.
Make some kind of panel for the fuses etc
Make a dash clock surround to hide wires etc, plan on getting it flocked.
Fit passenger seat and buy new harness, kinda feeling the one seat look tho?
Fit wing mirrors and figure out some kind of base plate for them.
Undecided on decals? i cant have them on boot or bonnet as aero catches are in the way.
Sun visors, i hate t**t strips so need to figure something new out.
Satin black the bottom of the bumper.
Do something about the rear screen and the white stripe around the edge
A stick on plate for the bottom of the bumper.
And then more thats just off the top of my head.
