A strange picture request

Morning,

I'm hoping someone can do me a quick favour this morning if possible.

I need a decent picture of the boot floor of a 182 without the carpet in place. The bit I need to see the clearest is the area right at the back nearest to the boot catch.

a guess would be to see how straight the boot floor should be?

That's odd, I typed a reply earlier but god knows where it's gone.

Basically I was rear ended last November. The repair looked fine at the time but at the weekend I had to take the carpet up to clean some sand off it and noticed it's not stood the test of time well.

I've spoken with the body shop and they are going take a look at lunch.

ah right,im not suprised mate,we had a new golf inthe other day,somw warranty work,and we were going to replace a rear light,the lady said she had been rear ended last year,and when we came to take the light out,the inner o/s/r quarter had been partly made up with what looked like mastic! the top bolt that should have slid through the bodywork that holds the light still,was sat in some sort of hard goo,no metal work there at all,no wonder the lamp wasnt sitting straight! they told her they had renewed the quarter panel,but had just pulled it out and filled the smashed area with this goo,it was a right mess

I need to see as far back as possible, just under the plastic boot trim, and to the right of the boot catch.

They're going to sort it but I want to make sure they are doing it correctly.

I reckon a 172 should be the same, at that point of the floor. If you don't mind that would be a real help.

Those pictures are perfect thanks.

It looks like the wheel well goes a lot further back than I remembered on the 172. Only pics of a 182 wheel well are going to show me the area I need to check out.

For anyone doing a 182 pic for me the last two pics are perfect.
