ABS, ESP and SERV Light

As above, these lights come on when I drive the car.

They only come on though when the steering wheel is turned.

We have checked the ABS rings, all seem fine and the rears have just been changed anyway.
ABS Sensors looked fine but that was with an untrained eye.
Tried the brake pedal sensor thing, which hasnt changed anything.

My braking or anything isnt affected in the slightest!

Any help would be appreciated.

It comes on everytime I drive the car (once ive turned the steering wheel) and stays on until the car is switched off.

Its probably you abs ring behind the wheel, mine did this when i fitted it incorrectly.

I'll try and find one on ebay....

If you dont have cruise, otherwise its a different one.

Can I ask why it would be that part that would cause this problem? And how does it get that fault?

I want to make sure of it before I spend £30 on it

I can only presume the esp requires to know which way the wheels are turning.

Ahh right lol... Is that part hard to change? Can you just use one off any model, as the link you gave was for a Campus model?

Not sure on model, best to ring clio spares or sutts autos on here, thats where i got mine, was only about £20 too from him

Its easy to change but I did break my stereo remote thingy as that has to be removed to fit it.

Its basically: Wheel off, remote off, plastic surround off, remove the connectors and one of the stalks, remove the ring and then the reverse to fit.

Its also not a true slip ring, and you must ensure it is centred (2.5 turns from one end iirc) before fitting or the fault will come back or worse you'll break the ribbon cable and have to buy another.

Tbf, my problems have all come at once. I had 7 months without a problem.
Then UCH went, which also in turn caused the satnav screen to blow, and now its just this warning light thing.

I was rolling with my UCH problem for a good 4-5 weeks though trying to find a cheaper solution than going to Renault lol. And I made a massive deal about it. Im sure every CS owner in the country knows about the problem that I had now

Sounds like your steering angle sensor has gone mate. When you start the car up does all the lights turn off, and when you move the wheel very slightly they all come on?

Problem has been solved mate. Ended up getting it diagnosed and it turned out that an ABS sensor wasnt working properly, only giving out power half-none of the time.
Everything is running fine now, no warning lights or any problems

I'm getting this now too. Comes on mostly at random when sitting in traffic (not moving though)

Still get the occasional pedal "farting" but all abs rings are fine
Fitted rear pads, Goodridge hoses and bled the system an hour ago!

Got it again when I was parking at home, only came on after I reversed into my space and stopped :S

Does the RS Tuner pick up this fault? (if it even comes up as a fault on the system)

Doy ou have the ABS/ESP module for the RSTuner? If the lights come on, there must be a fault code stored in the ECU.

I haven't even worked out how the hell you use the RS Tuner yet! Was me ran the groupbuy for it in 2009!

So is it the old RSTuner? Don´t know if they are compatible with the add-on modules.

Not sure - 90% certain its Mk2 from memory
