abs light comes on after 20mins in the car, then goes off after a break?

the abs light in my williams3 comes on after aprox 20 mins in the car, then goes off again once allowed to presumably cool, then back on again after another 15/20 mins :S. not sure why this is. anyone else had a similar issue with a williams or alike?

check non of the pick up rings has cracked as when it gets hot it will open up and put the light on.then as u say, it cools down and the gap closes so it will pick up again. just a possibility

Have had the same problem with my trophy. The lights come on when I turn the engine on, after a mile or so or an be 20 miles into a journey. Turning the engine off and back on cleared it for abit
Been back at the garage 3 times now. They have changed a sensor on the brake pedal and a damaged wire to do with the abs. Hope to get it back tomorrow.
They dented the door last time it was in!

hey mate thats exactly the same as me, have u noticed that the abs light wont come on wehn run from cold but when u turn the car off when its hot and turn it back on the abs light comes on? its when u stop and start the car when hot mine comes on. u can run the car for miles but as soon as u turn the ignition off then back on the fuker comes on, need this for my mot! b*****d
