ABS Light..

This evening on my way home from work i noticed my abs light was on.. i pulled up, switched engine off then back on, and it was fine.. 5 minutes down the road it happened again, so i switched the engine back off/on. I then tested the brakes to check if the ABS came in, which it did.. futher down the road the ABS light came on.. so i checked the brakes again and the wheels locked up and skidded!

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what might cause this?

Just had a quick look.. and the drivers side drive shaft looks like the gaitor has come loose and the jubilee clip looks like its obstructing the abs ring/sensor thing beneath the ring..
