how do u know if abs has come on?

You will know as the braking become less as the abs unlocks the brakes and then reaplies them.its like a juddering sound but as Nicky said you will know Best try it on a wide road with noone around and slam on hard and you know when it cuts in.

Ah yes! think it came on the other day on the approach to a slippery round about! the brakes locked for a sec and then the brake pedal went mental and vibrated lots!

didnt sound too pretty tho

the brake pedal will vibrate as the abs releases the brake and the pump replenishes the system and the brake is reapplied.youll know when it works.
