Some little w**kers broke into my car last night through the drivers door and nicked my amp and sub.

Aparently (acconding to the guy who fit my alarm) the alarm did go off but on the ultrasonics (not the door pin switches). So this must have gone off half way through them nicking everything.

I thought it was wierd as they left the parcel shelf with the 6x9s in.

Also wierd is that there is NO damage to the lock or any other part of the car.

Thank hevens for small mercys, they made quite a neat job of it!

They did the same to my golf a few months back, over a £1000 worth of gear including a screwdriver set but left the 6x9s and 6 1/4s. Not worth the effort!

Insurance often covers ICE, but for a Sub and Amp, and the cost of insurance noadays with no NCD.. (if you havnt got them protected) then its often not worth claiming.

Im not gonna claim. I bought the JBL amp and sub second hand anyway.

Annoyingly the car was parked ON MY DRIVE!

and I didnt hear the alarm!

They cut my alarm out! So I had to have a new one put in, so be grateful you dont have to fork out for that too...
