Acceleration problem on a 1.2 16v

If I floor the accelerator while in 4th doing about 30, the car judders/hesitates, it also does it when i pulling away. I recently did the spark plugs (NGK ones) and air filter and oil change. Any ideas on where to start off looking?????

Put it in 5th from 30, see if it pulls away at all.

If it doesn't your clutch might be knackd.

I always slowly watch the speedo climb to 40mph then I hit VTEC yo!

Is 4th not a bit high for 30mph?

I dont have any ideas as 2 what the problem is but no 4th shouldnt do that at that speed as i have 1.2 16v and its fine in 4th at 30

had similar issues in my 1.2 punto, i thought it was the clutch cos id abused it

just an idea but have i read somewhere that the NGK spark plugs dont work well, or are not recommended???

i heard that too about the ngk plugs, but it was okay for a bit, i have a feeling it might be coil pack, its a known problem on clio's i believe

just changed coil pack and leads and everything seems to be hunky dory
