accent Colour for silver mk3 clio

alright guys and girls. pretty new to the clio and its my first silver car so ts pretty nutral colour really.

i want a colour or a way of making the car stand out a little so im trying to decide on a colour that would help to pick out certain details. ie the diamonds, badges, and a few other little details maybe.

now im not talking bright orange clio stickers running the length of the car, just enough to make it look snazzy and stand out.

i was thinking of yellow fogs, maybe black taillights etc??

any suggestions much appreciated. cheers!

Welcome along, don't bother with black taillights, it's chavvy.

Smaller details are better and if you have a search there are quite a few different schemes people have gone for.

Couldn't agree more.....my silver Mk3 came with black tinted tail lights and it looked awful! One of the first things I replaced. Personally I think silver can be quite hard to accessorise, but I'm going with the Silver with anthracite detail scheme on mine. Some people prefer silver and black, but I reckon black only suits certain kinds of wheels so it all depends really. Get some pics up and we can have a look

cheers for the response. will stay away from black tail lights then this is the car as she stands

im thinking of removing the black door pillar strips firstly. Also the alloys are not actualy silver as they look in that picture theyre more of a gun metal grey which I really like. kinda breaks the silver up a lil bit. (and I like the wheels so im not interested in replacing them) (also I don't have the funds to lower or anything big so all my mods are just to "enhance" the car, not to "modify" it as such if that makes any sense)

keep it clean, lower it and add nice wheels... And maybe projector headlights. It'll look much better than painting bits of it

nice wheels??? I love the standard wheels and as said Im not interested in lowering it atm. cheers though

Hmm, if your are looking for cheap effective mods i would..... Get a shorter arial (possibly one to match the colour of the car or close)......debadge the back as this makes it look much cleaner......clean number plate....little things like that will make a difference. Its a shame these come as standard so high up, they smart when sat just on the wheels

ps i dont mind the wheels, look fine if your are doing purely oem

cheers guys, so im thinking so far... yellow fogs, remove wrap from door pillars, carbon wrap bumper inserts and splitter, maybe carbon wrap mirrors, id also love to get the roof wrapped but itll depend on costs

I wouldn't remove the wrap from the door pillar it will make it look like a lesser model, and IMO it looks less finished off, you don't want that because I'm sure you paid a fair bit for that model

Tbh bud, if you havent got the funds to lower....you wont have the funds to wrap the roof. The other bits wont be too bad but for a about the same price (depending on who u get to wrap it) you could get some springs, nothing over the top and it will make a big difference just a thought.

I wouldn't bother with carbon wrapping and yellow fogs will make it look cheaper. Honestly just keep it clean fit a shorter aerial and maybe some projector headlights as said. It's a nice looking car don't make it look "try hard" like so many do.

thanks for the advice. its funny because my very first car was a saxo and that was like the big "MUST DO" thing lol. wat u mean "paid" a lot of money ill be paying for it for the next 4 years HAHA trouble was as soon as I saw it I was like I WANT IT!! so here she is today!
