Advice - funny noise

I've recently noticed that sometimes when i pull away after having the handbrake on, my car make a funny kind of loud clicking noise, as if im running something over and braking it, it feels a bit like im running something over too, as i feel it bump a bit! The first time it happened i just thought thats what i'd done, sounds like plastic crunching, but its happened a fair few time now!

Anyone know what it could be?

something stuck in a tyre? stone, nail? Wheel arch liner loose?

The noise seems far too loud to come from just having something in the tyre, and it only happens now and then too

your brakes aren't playing up at all by any chance are they? (occasional grinding noise)

Sounds like the rear brakes locking on and releasing when you set off. Mine have been doing it recently. Damp weather or something.

Hmm, maybe that, its not really a grinding noise though. If it carries on or gets worse i'll take it to the dealers

If its happening after handbrakes been on then its prob only the rear pads 'rusting' to disk and noise and bump are them just releasing. Happening on mine at mo after leaving it for a while.
