I placed an order for a mate of mine for some rear discs for his megane, upon arrival today I noticed the items boxes (It was inside a larger box showing no signs of damage) had some marks - So I removed the discs from the packaging and loe and behold I find this:
It was packaged in a larger box with padding but they look like they have been stacked with something very heavy on top or dropped as the damage to both boxes is all the way through mashing the ABS sensor and causing the bearing on the other disc to separate !
The issue we have is he needs the discs and faffing around with a return and resend will take longer then we have, Does anybody know if the rubber is essential to the ABS sensors reading ?
