advice????

fitted new front brake pads and discs yesterday, topped up the brake fluid too. My brakes feel a bit softer now and pedal seems to require a little more pressure than before. Is there anything that may be causing this or is it just because of the new brakes.

they'll take a few miles to properly bed - in - give it a few miles and i'm sure you'll see it getting better. If it doesn't then bleed the braking system.

if its feeling a bit spongy id bleed the braking system straight away. u could end up warping your new disks otherwise. and besides it should only take an hour or so if you know what ure doing and ull be safe in the knowledge that u aint gonna die with air in ure pipes.
