advise would be nice...(pics)

ok folks... finally its a nice day and i was at home at lunch time so i decided to look under the car after i hit the tree back in janurary... i was shocked at what i found... first of all the tray? under the engine is f**ked and looks like they plastic welded it as seen here...

there is also a lot of the plastic missing around where the car hit the curb again this is the tray type part under the car..

after all of that i seen LOTS of rust! its only a year old FS

so i took a pic before and then ran out of time to finish sanding/primeing and painting but below is the pics of the part thats rusted (and i must say a little bent?!!) and a pic of the sand paper after about 2 minutes

what do i do about this? surly all of this should have been fixed under the insurance claim i put in? also the lock on the passenger door will not work when using the key in the lock but the plip button works so im going back next week about the lock should i say about the rest whilst im there or will they say its too late/done after it was handed back? its been aronud 4 months...

I say take it straight back, time should not be an issue as rust takes a while to develop and you can say that is what made you notice the rest, just dont give in to them

Stand your ground, I bet the repairer charged the insurance company to change it all!

ok thanks guys - ill mention it when im there.

i might ask for an itemized bill as well from the insurance company..
