aftermarket seat fitting

Car  Radical SR3
Just wondering how anyone with base mount bucket seats gets on? For omp you can really only fit the fixed base mount brackets...do you just stop using the back seats and never adjust agaij? What if your other half wants to drive the car. I had a look tonight at using the stock runners but its not possible.

If your going for fixed back buckets then the bask seats are going to be pretty useless.

I have got some being delivered soon and i'm going to get rid of the rear bench as you won't be able to get to them,

I ordered omp runners to fit the omp subframes, that way at least you can adjust the seat for leg room if someone else needs to drive it.

Hmmmm...ok, well these are base mount recliners. Do the sliders (universal) fit and work with the Clio specific frame mounts to the floor? KamRacing didn't seem to be sure.

The holes are universal for the seat fitting so all OMP seat parts will join together, i'm just not sure where people are attaching seat belts

most people buy a set of subframes, but theyre not cheap!

normaly with most cars you can butcher the original front seats and mount the new seats to them!

I did think about butchering the stock rail and base but the thought of fitting some L shaped bars etc just doesn't fill me with confidence if the car had a crash. The seats could save your life.

So the only way is to get the subframes (that bolt to the floor) and the optional universal sliders then? that's more than these seats cost me.....great.
