Aftermarket Steering Wheel - clarification required

I'm considering changing my standard wheel to a Sabelt Renaultsport one and just wondered what it's going to cost and what other considerations I need to be aware of.

Required:
- Wheel - £139.20
- Boss - £49
- Ph1 indicator stalk (required for horn button)
- Anything else?

Considerations:
- Cruise control will no longer be available
- Airbag will not be present
- Airbag light on dash will remain on? If so, how is this resolved?
- Any other considerations?

Thanks all

pretty sure you bypass the airbag light using a resister. also sure theres a guide in the guide section

alternatively take the bulb out

Do NOT do! I have done, tried to go back to standard and cant because of the airbag lights.

From someone who has, dont, its not worth the ball ache

My indicators don't self cancel with the momo boss, but I think that's because i've fitted it wrong and CBA to take it off and look at it.

When changing your wheel, the most important thing I wish id known is:

1) Don't take the bolt out the middle of the wheel, just undo it so it's on it's last few threads and pull sharply to loosen it.
2) DO NOT move the squib when you take it off as it f***s up all the traction control and you have to get it re-set up using CLIP. Park the car with the wheels straight, take off the wheel, tape the squib in place while you're f**king about so it doesn't do any anti/clockwise rotations.

Required:
- Wheel - £139.20
- Boss - £49
- Ph1 indicator stalk (required for horn button) correct
- Anything else? 2 x 3.3ohm resitors

Considerations:
- Cruise control will no longer be available not unless you really start messing around, not worth it tbh
- Airbag will not be present correct
- Airbag light on dash will remain on? If so, how is this resolved? See above, 2 x 3.3ohm resistors
- Any other considerations?

Thanks all

Answers in red. It is very easy to change them over and well worth it

Really as i have just switched back to standard without a problem, just plug airbag back in and the lights go off. Simple
