Aftermarket steering wheel conundrum!

Looking to change my steering wheel but no idea what to purchase ?

What advice can you provide when purchasing one that is right because I’d hate to buy one and it just not feel right.

There’s so much to consider for example flat/deep dish, diameter, style, material, cost etc.

Car is used for daily drive and track days.

OMP GP. It's the perfect size at 330mm, the material is great for comfort for daily use and also for spirited drives, and it looks decent. The Trecento is the same but 300mm and a tad small in my opinion. I've had both btw.

I personally think the Renault Sport Sabelt one is the best wheel for these, but being suede, I wouldn't have one as a daily unless you are prepared to know that the material will get worn down fairly quickly. The OMP one above is a fit and forget being polyeurethene.

Would 2nd that regarding an OMP wheel and it being 330mm.

There’s a few design they do so just have a search online and pick the one you like the most.

I went for suede but it’s a track car so not fussed about daily wear.

Lots of people complain about not being able to get the OMP boss to work with the cruise control and it not having the tabs that still automatically turn off the indicators but I didn’t have this problem and it was fine.

The alternative is a MOMO boss.

280mm? Does it feel easy enough at low speeds?
I love it, i use it daily and never had a problem with it, only problem is jumping into other car and it feels like driving a bus with massive wheel [emoji1787]
