ive just purchased AG clay kit, SRP and Gloss Protector. But after reading on here and looking on youtube should i wax the car after using these or with this be enough?

well i use the EGP on mine mate and it does give alright beading but the durability of it was only about 4 weeks but i suppose you could always stick another coat of the EGP on the next day or something.... Also get ready 2 feel the burn when your trying 2 buff the EGP off if you do it by hand like i do

cotton cloth mate.. its abit of a tw*t 2 do when you 1st use it as sometimes you get places where its gone on quite thick.. i never leave it the half an hour 2 cure like it recommends on the bottle as its right b**ch 2 get off just after about 15mins but still seems 2 work

Wax on top as egp is a sealant so I'd still go with some wax.

I used EGP for the first time on friday, left it for about 25 mins as it was just startin to rain slightly and I didnt find it hard to get off by hand at all?

You might of not over applied it James. Temperature also plays a big part in it to.

If you're having trouble removing EGP sounds like your applying far too much, I had the same trouble when I 1st started using it. I used one of the round foam applicators and apply just enough to layer the paint.
EGP can be layered to give extra durability as a single layer won't last that long. after 4 weeks give it a good wash down and apply another coat, it's far simpler to apply than a wax so just layer it up. A wax would last longer but they don't seem to take to well over EGP, so I'd use just EGP or a wax over SRP

Last time I cleaned the car it was clayed using meguiers quick clay kit which I highly recommend. Then I used srp then egp then I used poor boys nattys blue wax. Egp is a pain in the ass when it's hot and srp is dusty as. But to be fair it brought the cars paint work up at treat and it's still gleaming now nearly two weeks later.

srp is dusty as.
spread the product out more or use less product, give it a light mist of quick detailer before you buff it off. I find if you use small circles to buff it off it works better and there is far less dust than just wiping it off.

ive now bought some of meguiars scratch x 2.0
should i use this after the clay??

Yep, what are you using this for? scratches or a whole car polish ?

scratches mostly. was gonna go over the whole car. but now ive found out bout this poor boys so might get some of that.

im new to all this and really interested in it, reading loads of threads and think ill try what most people use.

I left it two hours the other day, it was a piece of piss to wipe off...i thought it was meant to be easy?
On the bottle it says idealy leave it two hours right?
